Become a Member
of ISCA
There are several classes of membership.
A Full Member must qualify with a minimum of a B.S. degree in a field of natural resources or earth sciences with 15 semester hours of soils classes. Only a Full Member can hold an office or vote.
A Student Member must be enrolled in a college or university in a field of natural resources or earth sciences.
An Affiliate Member has no specific requirements other than wanting to be a supporter of the activities of ISCA.
An Out-of-State Member must meet the minimum qualifications of a Full Member, but must reside out-of-state.
A Retired Member must meet the Full Member requirements, but is no longer in the practice of soil classifying. Retired Members can serve as a committee chair.
